- About Us
We are proud to be Oahu’s premier eco-friendly action water sports outfitter as 100% of our proceeds directly benefit Kama’aina Kids and He’eia State Park.
Our waterfront programs operate out of He‘eia State Park on Kaneohe Bay. The Bay is known for spectacular reefs, stunning views of the Ko‘olau Mountains, and for calm waters.
Kamaaina Kids have been operating waterfront and enviromental education programs on Kaneohe Bay for over 20 years.
We just got back from the most epic day EVER at Kaneohe Bay Sandbar for catamaran sailing and snorkeling with Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure!!! Highly recommend this tour to everyone heading to Waikiki!!! We lucked out and got the boat to ourselves! Our guide Parker was absolutely AMAZING!!! So informative and fun and he took us wherever we wanted to go! We got to sail the catamaran and saw 5 ginormous manta rays and at least 10 huge sea turtles plus tonnes of fishys along the reef!!! We walked in the middle of the bay on the sandbar! Plus we had excellent weather and wind so we got sailing real fast around the whole bay! The BBQ lunch was delicious and much needed after our fun-filled adventure! So incredibly awesome!!! Thank you so very, very much to Parker and everyone at Holokai Kayak and Snorkel Adventure!!! Best day here yet!!! ♡
We received a detailed brief about all the ‘how-to’ for this trip. We are a group of girls who have no idea what we are doing and where we are heading. This was first time for all of us so imagine the nerves and excitement we got. Andy gave us a quick but detail lesson on kayaking, gave us details on how to get to the sandbar, where to go, how to spot landmarks, etc. We had a great time there!
We are an older couple who are moving to Kaneohe and wanted to explore Kaneohe Bay. Andy was great in showing us places to kayak to and Samantha was friendly and helped us set off. We went to the sand bar and snorkeled at one of the coral patches. We traveled around the Bay and saw many turtles. The boat and snorkel gear were in good condition and the price was very reasonable. We particularly liked that we were supporting Kamaina Kids, an organization that supports young people and the environment. This is not your typical tourist oriented moneymaking industry! We plan on going out again and recommending this to our friends.
